VMware have just announced more changes to the licensing model for vSphere 5…
You will now have to pay no more that the cost of an Enterprise+ license for any one single machine… That is of course if you are running more than 96Gb of RAM.
These changes do not mean that you should use ESXi free edition with 32Gb of RAM (was 8 under first new license model) and run heaps of production servers on it… :-(
